Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart

ST. PAUL LUTHERAN  STUDENTS JUMPED FOR THEIR HEARTS AND HELPED SAVE LIVES!
 
Students at St. Paul Lutheran School in Fort Dodge jumped at the chance to fight heart disease and stroke, our nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers. On March 5th, St. Paul Lutheran School hosted its Jump Rope For Heart event to raise money for the American Heart Association, which funds lifesaving heart and stroke research and community and educational programs for our youth.
Jump Rope For Heart teaches students how physical fitness benefits the heart and shows them that volunteering can be a fun and positive experience for the whole community. For over 32 years, Jump Rope For Heart has raised more than $810 million for the fight against heart disease and stroke. Millions of students have jumped rope or shot hoops and learned about heart health and how nutrition and physical activity can help prevent heart disease and stroke.  Jump Rope/Hoops For Heart is co-sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
St. Paul students and staff raised $3,327 for the American Heart Association.  As a special incentive top fundraising students were able to “Pie” the faces of four willing staff members. 

2013-2014 Re-enrollment

March 15th has been set as the due date for the re-enrollment application forms.  Along with returning your re-enrollment form, you will want to be sending in your completed Lutheran School Tuition Organization form for tuition assistance.  Applications for tuition assistance must have a postmark no later than Friday, April 26th.

Forms for 2013-2014 Registration were attached to the January 31st newsletter and also available in the school office.

Tuition rates for the 2013-2014 School Year

                           Kindergarten:  $1,400

          Grades 1-8:  1st Child =  $1,900

                        2nd/3rd Child = $1,750

Preschool Registration 2013-2014

ST. PAUL ACCEPTING PRESCHOOL APPLICATIONS

St. Paul Lutheran Preschool is accepting applications for the 2013-2014 school year. Upon registration, a $36 non-refundable registration fee will be charged along with the first month’s tuition.  The tuition payment is refundable only through June 1, 2013.

Children who will be 4 by Sept. 15, 2013 may register for the three-day-a-week program which runs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.

St. Paul’s also offers a 3-year-old preschool program.  Children who will be 3 by Sept. 15, 2013 may register for a two-day-a-week or a three-day-a-week program. The two-day-a-week program is offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings or Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. The three-day-a-week program is offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons.

Mornings sessions run from 8:30 a.m. through 11 a.m. with afternoon sessions from 12:30 p.m. through 3 p.m. Mrs. Dawn Vought serves as the preschool teacher with associate Mrs. Anna Zimmermann.
